Does a Holosun EPS Carry Fit a SIG P365? Exact Fit Guide

The EPS Carry is attractive on a P365 because its enclosed emitter is protected from lint and debris. The mounting answer still begins with the slide—not the feature list.

That establishes current package inventory, not one universal P365 screw prescription.

OpticsPlanet’s Gear Experts identify plate-free EPS Carry routes for the P365XL and repeatedly for the standard XMacro (standard EPS Carry, MRS version). The MRS XMacro answer had 51 of 51 helpful votes at the time checked.

Verified owners independently report clean direct installs on a P365XL and multiple XMacros, including a 2026 report describing a flush, plate-free fit with usable stock sights. This is strong secondary corroboration for a standard COMPACT-cut XMacro. It does not transfer to SIG-LOC, a replaced slide, FUSE, or an unidentified AXG configuration.

What the Included Adapter Actually Means

Holosun currently includes an RMSc-to-K adapter with EPS Carry, along with M3x12, M4x12, and 6-32x12 screw pairs. The adapter can bridge a compatible RMSc host to the K optic, but its presence does not answer:

• whether the pistol already accepts K directly;
• whether the adapter is approved for that exact slide;
• which included screw pair has the right thread and length; or
• whether the added height preserves the desired iron-sight picture.

Use it only when the current Holosun/slide documentation defines that route. Do not add the plate merely because it was in the box.

Why We Do Not Publish One Universal P365 Screw Length

The field evidence is mixed in an important way. Several P365 owners report uneventful direct installs, while a verified P365X owner needed a separate screw set and an XMacro owner used separate 10 mm screws for a plate-free installation. Another XMacro review explicitly warns against the supplied screws for its direct route.

Those reports may reflect different slide generations, optic packages, or installation choices. They justify a hardware warning, not a crowdsourced universal length. Match the thread family first, dry-fit without thread treatment, and confirm that the optic clamps flat before the screw bottoms out.

P365X / XL Installation Boundary

On a factory optic-ready P365X/XL:

1. Confirm it is the expected COMPACT optic-ready slide, not a replacement SIG-LOC or aftermarket slide.
2. Follow the current EPS Carry instructions for direct K mounting.
3. Dry-fit with the exact specified screws; the body must sit flat and neither screw may bottom out.
4. Confirm normal extractor and slide function before live fire.
5. Apply only the specified thread treatment and torque.
6. Zero, witness-mark, and recheck after the maker’s initial schedule.

SIG’s current P365 manual warns that filler-plate screws secure the filler plate only. Its cover torque is not the EPS Carry torque.

XMacro and SIG-LOC Have Different Evidence Grades

SIG’s standard XMacro page lists COMPACT/Shield RMSc. SIG’s SIG-LOC slide page lists SIG-LOC Compact plus Shield RMS-C. Neither cited statement names Holosun K or EPS Carry.

For the standard COMPACT-cut XMacro, exact retailer answers and repeated owner installs now support a direct route in the field. Because the cited Holosun model list still stops at P365 X/XL, the checker keeps the XMacro pairing below manufacturer-verified green. SIG-LOC remains a separate, unverified K route.
