A factory Springfield Hellcat OSP or Hellcat RDP uses the same Springfield Micro/RMSc-pattern mounting logic as the Hellcat Pro: true RMSc optics mount directly with correct M4 hardware, while Holosun 407K, 507K, and EPS Carry require a verified RMSc-to-K adapter. SIG names the open and enclosed ROMEO-X Compact as adapter-free Hellcat fits, and Springfield sells a Hellcat-specific Viridian RFX11. This guidance does not apply to a non-OSP slide. SIG explicitly advises against mounting ROMEOZero on Hellcat pistols.
The base Hellcat needs one extra identification step: OSP or not. Only the OSP slide has Springfield’s factory optic pocket.

SIG lists its ROMEO-X Compact and enclosed Compact as direct, adapter-free fits for Springfield Hellcat using included hardware. Springfield’s Hellcat-exclusive RFX11 is another exact direct route.
Springfield’s Shield hardware kit names Shield RMSc, SMSc, and JPoint and includes M4 x 0.7 x 7.5 mm screws for those exact optics. Other true-RMSc optics can share the geometry, but they do not inherit that screw length automatically.
Holosun Requires the Correct Bridge
The factory four-boss pocket is not a direct Holosun K cut. For 407K or 507K, use a plate such as C&H’s exact Hellcat-to-K model. For EPS Carry, use Holosun’s documented RMSc adapter route or a current purpose-specific Hellcat/EPS plate.
Do not grind the bosses to force plate-free K fit.
Hardware and Safety Boundary
Springfield’s Hellcat instructions require M4-0.7 screws of the correct length, with no more than 0.095 inch / 2.4 mm protruding below the optic. They also say not to put threadlocker into the slide holes.
The SIG ROMEOZero warning is the decisive exception: SIG says not to mount it on Hellcat pistols because screw engagement is insufficient. Optics Intel shows that as a hard no-fit even though the optic is nominally RMSc.
